How To Connect A CD Player To An Amplifier?

If you own a CD player, then it would be a great source of music and entertainment for you. From the small audio jack, you can let yourself flow with the rhythm of music through the headphone.

But what if you want the music to be louder? Or let it rock and roll even more people around you? Well, in that case, you must have to use a full form speaker. And the very next item you need to do that is an amplifier.

But for many people, especially who’ve not done it yet, it’s a complicated process to connect an amplifier with a CD player. We won’t say that the process is very hard or so. But for the first time, it’s better to let someone else show it for you.

Connect CD Player with a Amplifier

Step 1: Connect the Red/White Plugs

The very first step is to connect the red and white plug from the end of the stereo to the end of the CD player where a couple of similar colored output jacks will be available. Make sure the joint is tight and solid. Don’t over-push it. It’s an auto-adjustment.

Step 2: Connect the Other End to the Amplifier

If you’re done with connecting one ends of the cables with the CD player, now it’s time to connect the other end to the amplifier. There will be two audio plugs in the amplifier- the right one and the left one. Connect the white cable to the left plug, and the red cable to the right-sided plug.

Step 3: Check the Connections and Power It Up

Now double check the connections you made to make sure that they’re connected in proper connection. Avoid any kind of water, oil, dust or debris in between the connection of any two portals.

Finally, press the power button.

Step 4: Find The CD Player Connection on The Amplifier

To make sure that you’ve made all the connections right, there is a way that you and follow.

Find the component selector knob on the frontal end of the amplifier. If there is a display on the amplifier, then keep rolling the knob until you find a text appearing that says ‘CD’ or ‘CD Player’. If it happens in that way, you’ve completed the whole process successfully.

Step 5: Plug and Play

Now, we’re done with the formal procedure of connecting an amplifier and CD player. If everything’s right, you can be able to play music from the CD payer through the amplifier. The sound of the entire set will be extraordinary and way better than any other system that you can arrange with a CD player.
